The biosafety airtight pass-through chamber is primarily used in high-level biosafety laboratories (BSL-3, BSL-4, ABSL-3, ABSL-4) for rooms requiring airtightness, addressing the airtightness issues of material transfer channels.
The double doors of the airtight pass-through chamber employ both mechanical and inflatable sealing mechanisms to ensure the airtightness of the material transfer channel. High-elasticity sealing rings and inflatable sealing rings are installed on the door panels, and a compression mechanism creates a double-layered sealing band between the door and the door frame.
As a material transfer device, the pass-through chamber is mainly used for transferring small items between low-contamination probability areas and high-contamination probability areas. Its double doors are equipped with an interlock system to prevent direct connection between different areas. Additionally, it features a VHP decontamination interface, which can be connected to VHP decontamination equipment to disinfect items inside the chamber, effectively reducing contamination during the transfer process.
